With plenty of space to stretch out, we questioned what to do with the field beside the creek. The land had recently been a corn field, but housing development brought an end to it being traditional farmland. We hate to see farmland disappear and wanted to do something productive with the land that has been entrusted to us. What else could we grow? We created a large vegetable garden and Becca snuck in a few rows for a couple of cut flowers. A couple of cut flowers suddenly grew into grow lights in the basement starting trays of cosmos, zinnias, and dahlias. The process is addicting. We have greatly expanded our little 2021 experiment to be able to provide early spring through late fall flowers in the year 2022. Now the garden is again growing, and we are offering the wonder of fresh flowers to local friends, neighbors, and soon to be friends! Please join us in the joy of growing!
